Well hello there! My name is Stacie Towe. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mom, and I am a breast cancer survivor. While I was working on my bachelor's degree at Winthrop, I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. I had to stop school for awhile, but after a leave of absence, and with the support of my family, I returned and graduated with honors, going on to earn my Master of Social Work a year later!
I am honored to be named Survivor Chair with the Making Strides against Breast Cancer organization for 2021, and I have also been a vocalist and volunteer for the 24 Foundation representing Wind River Wellness Retreats and the Primax Pink Warriors. I have such a passion for my surviving and thriving sisters and brothers!
I have had the privilege of being interviewed multiple times by Stuart Watson's "Man Listening" podcast and others as well as being featured in an article by WSOC. I hope you enjoy my blog, and feel free to drop me a line!
